When you’re opening your own hospital, choosing an operating table starts with the way you intend to work. Bring your specialty, planned procedures, room plan and preferred working position into the discussion. These give the Medicare Manage team a starting point for comparing models and configurations with you.

Start with your working height.
Write down the working height you want to discuss, including what you would like to improve from a table you already use. Compare the stated minimum and maximum together, and check whether the measurements include the mattress.
A CATALOGUE EXAMPLE
Astra Premium is specified at 600–1000 mm without the mattress. Healex 04 is specified at 700–950 mm without the mattress; its ultra-low-height upgrade is optional, and the revised minimum remains to confirm.
Use the individual model’s measurements when comparing options.
Explore Astra PremiumExplore Healex 04Discuss positioning and imaging together.
Share the positioning movements, detachable sections and accessories you need to review. If you plan to use a C-arm, discuss the intended imaging setup and access with the table in its proposed configuration.
Astra Premium’s catalogue states 300 mm of top sliding travel and detachable head, leg and pelvic sections. Ask the team to review these details against your requirements, including the accessories you intend to order. A catalogue feature alone does not establish suitability for a particular procedure.
Separate standard controls from upgrades.
Astra Premium has a standard wired hand remote; wireless control is optional. Its EL emergency panel is also optional and is described as a keyed manual-override control with battery backup. Confirm the functions supplied in your ordered configuration.
Ask which movements each control operates, what backup arrangement is included and which details remain unconfirmed. For Astra Premium, the catalogue does not establish load capacity or power supply; obtain these details before ordering.
Make the quotation describe your setup.
Ask for the model, selected upgrades, mattress, accessories and any attachment requirements to be itemised. An accessory appearing in an image does not establish that it is included.
Agree delivery timing and charges, installation, handover, training and warranty terms before ordering. Wooden packing is included in every Medicare Manage quotation.
